    Great article, and a wonderful suggestion that employment experts work with mental health teams.

    You state that::”Public hospitals are frequently far closer to, and are more connected with, the range of services that are crucial to a person’s recovery than GPs, who often work in isolation.”

    I wonder whether there is evidence to support this. Importantly, it points to the need for a strategy to ensure that people affected by mental health issues can have access to excellent primary care. Reliance on hospitals for primary care may explain why so many people with mental illness do not receive effective care for chronic conditions such as diabetes, and tobacco addiction.
