    only believe stats when presented with all the context. Who what why when and where? Who paid for it, what did they want the outcomwe to be? when were the stats taken(during work hours – unemployed after hours – people with no life) Where is the info being used?

    The statistics aren’t the problem. It’s the analysis that is used and the conclusions formed from the data that is the problem.
    There are too many journalists out there who just report on press releases, rather then investigating the actual figures. Is it any wonder why the press is struggling?
