Your constant return to beating the drum re this philosophically dubious set of premises may give a warm feeling to drum beaters; but whether it actually helps increase the likelihood of the imagined beneficiaries enjoying a better life remains as unlikely as ever.

Norman, I truly do not understand your position. VACCHO concerns appear reasonable, balanced and to have direct relevance to their Memberships requirements.

Clearly, VACCHO is prepared to work with Govt. and consult with stakeholders in upgrading ANW’s to become fully qualified Aboriginal Health Practitioners. I think you owe them an apology.

graybul,if an apology is needed it’s from those who never acknowledge the first highly competent indigenous person who [without any ‘special’ help]gained medical qualifications as a doctor from Sydney University in the 1950s.
Nor should anyone apologise for being aware that ‘qualifications’ are given to some groups without requiring them to reach standards required by other Australians.
