    What? Still no science minister?

    Minister For Health (Science)
Would be dedicated to ensuring that adequate funding was given to research, teaching and
development of medical knowledge and methods rather than put all the money in a $20 billion dollar slush fund for the big pharmaceutical companies to plunder. Would create programmes to promote evidence based medicine.

@Stuart Coyle you are right. That was an omission. And I like your description! Thanks.

Melissa, do you REALLY believe your effort here is the most productive action you can take to help encourage high level analysis of Australia’s Health Funding crisis which will determine where our Health Systems end up?

Tim Senior, perhaps because I spend too much time on poorer level sites, I’ve read your zany post before. I realise it’s not your fault Melissa chose to re-run your material, but to reduce the likelihood of this happening too frequently, why not consider making more serious efforts?

You forgot Minister for Health (Housing) there are massive benefits well researched and tested (in other countries of course) that demonstrate the impact of housing on health issues and costs.

Meanwhile, the actual Minister for Health way flayed by Hamish Macdonald on RN a couple of days ago.

    Not funny enough?
